Dear Colleagues and Friends,
the 46th Conventus of the Societas ORL Latina will take place in Naples in March 2024. I am very proud to chair this meeting eight years after the last one in Italy, in the city of Turin.
I still remember the Conventus of the Societas ORL Latina that my father planned in 1964 in Bologna. It’s not a coincidence that Naples and Bologna are still contending with each other for the supremacy of the most ancient University in the world.

Naples has a millennial heritage of history, culture, art and religion. 
Its breathtaking landscapes and its several archeological sites (among which Pompeii is the most relevant) are famous all over the world.We are working on a wide scientific program. The contents will include all the ENT pathologies and controversials, surgical and clinical issues, the overlapping problems following the last guidelines. Dissection courses and live surgical sessions will be planned. 
Do not forget that the famous napolitan art of cooking is waiting for all of you!
I hope that the scientific program and the cultural events we are going to plan will be a chance for everyone to spend a very pleasant time in the sign of the advancement of our discipline and the development of friendship relations, among people from different countries and with different cultures.
